Left: Doug Scott, Jojo Laird and Frank Macdermot offload from ‘Base Camp Pelagic’

Centre: Doug gets to grips with the stunning landscape from the glacier below our unclimbed, unnamed summit on the Navaro Peninsula.

Right: Taken from the summit of ‘Cerro Pelagic,’ 1750 meters, (there are many!) the three climbers Doug, Julian and myself pose on the surreal ice mushroom dubbed ‘Mt Poltroon,’ (an inside joke) with of course the glorious, but elusive Mt Sarmiento to the west.
