Left: Doron Erel,
carries the first load. After being dropped off by Pelagic on Anvers Island, we
found a steep, but stable ramp, under Mt. William to gain the glacier along an
otherwise impassable ice cliff.
Centre: We were a 6 man Anglo/French/Israeli team (we all got
along more or less!) .
Right: Julian Freeman-Attwood and Chantal Mauduit high up the
mountain above the Neumayeur Channel.
Below: It was perfect weather for a new route on the east face.
We climbed through the night for another summit sunrise. We could easily see
Adelaide Island 150 miles to the south. 24 hours on the trot from shore to
shore.
